Terms and
conditions.
01Scope
These Terms and Conditions govern all private chauffeur transport services provided by Velour within France. Any booking implies unreserved acceptance of these terms. Velour provides city transfers, airport and station transfers, hourly hire and bespoke services.
02Full payment at booking
All bookings are payable in full at the time of booking. Payment is processed by Stripe with 256-bit SSL encryption. Accepted methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay. No card data is stored on Velour servers; processing is handled entirely by Stripe. An invoice and confirmation are sent immediately by email.
03Rates and price calculation
Rates are quoted inclusive of tax and cover the chauffeur, the vehicle, fuel, insurance, water and sweets on board. The price is built from a minimum fare per class, plus a per-kilometer rate applied to the real distance measured between pick-up and drop-off. No surcharge is applied at night, at weekends or on public holidays: the rate is identical at any hour. Tolls, parking and exceptional costs are quoted before confirmation.
04Client obligations
The client must be present at the agreed time and place. Complimentary waiting is 15 minutes in the city and 60 minutes at airports after actual landing. The vehicle must be respected: smoking and narcotics are prohibited on board, and respectful behaviour towards the chauffeur is expected. Passenger and luggage numbers must match the booking. Information provided (flight number, addresses) must be accurate. In the event of a no-show without notice, the fare remains due.
05Booking confirmation
A booking is only firm once 100% of the amount has been settled. Confirmation and invoice are sent by email as soon as payment clears. Any request to change the time, the address or the vehicle is handled directly with Velour by phone or WhatsApp, subject to availability.
06Liability
Velour does everything possible to ensure punctuality and safety. Liability cannot be engaged in cases of force majeure, exceptional traffic, adverse weather, strikes or any event beyond its control. If a vehicle becomes unavailable, a vehicle of equal or higher class is dispatched as quickly as possible.
07Personal data
Data collected (name, phone, email, journey addresses) is used solely to deliver and invoice the service, and is retained for three years. Under the GDPR, clients have rights of access, rectification, erasure and portability, exercisable by email to contact@velour.limo.
08Disputes and governing law
In the event of a dispute, an amicable resolution is sought first. French law applies. The competent court is Paris.
